Fleet management company GPS Insight will be highlighting its three levels of safety at this year’s Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX).

Level 1 includes GPS tracking, which provides alerts and reports on hard braking, hard acceleration, and swerving behaviors to reduce severe incidents. Customers average a 20-30% reduction in accidents, speeding, and maintenance costs, according to the company. Level 2 ensures driver protection via an in-cab camera that provides visibility into what’s happening on the road — evidence to exonerate your drivers.

Finally, Level 3 expands on driver protection by additionally using the in-cab camera to focus on prevention, which allows insights into distracted driving, in addition to virtual coaching

According to the company, fleet operations that use the GPS Insight Driveri Smart Camera at the protection level can expect a reduction in preventable vehicle accidents by 50% or more. Additionally, those at the prevention level see a 70-83% reduction in at-fault vehicle accidents.

GFX will be held November 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
