Ford's Transit PTV concept is built with a medium height and long wheelbase. It was upfitted at Havis Prisoner Transport Solutions in Warminster, Pa.
The Transit PTV convent features three separate prisoner compartments to hold as many as 12 individuals.
A side compartment can accomodate two prisoners.
The rear chamber can accomodate 10 prisoners and offers a rear step for entry and exit.
The center console houses controls from Whelan for lights and radio. It also offers additional power outlets for accessory equipment.
An articulating Havis mount accommodates a rugged tablet.
Controls for the two-way radio and lights are integrated into the center console.
The Transit PTV concept's prisoner compartments are equipped with grab straps.
