Fleet Supervisor Jeff Hart says his favorite aspect of working with the city is the variety of equipment he gets to oversee.

The Oceanside police is transitioning its police fleet from Ford Crown Victoria sedans to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicle and the Chevrolet Tahoe Special Service Vehicle. It still have 67 Crown Victoria sedans in service.

The Police Department's Mobile Command Emergency Response Unit includes a complete dispatch center and a 50-inch SMART board.
