The Automotive Lift Institute, Inc. (ALI) announced the 2013 edition of its new guide entitled “Vehicle Lifting Points for Frame Engaging Lifts.”

This updated guide is a quick-reference single-source manual for lifting point information as recommended by vehicle manufacturers. The 60-page guide for domestic and imported cars and light trucks uses more than 200 undercarriage images to cover the most recent 23 model years (1991 - 2013), according to ALI.

For this new edition, ALI added 2013 model-year vehicles, revised some older images, and added cautionary notes in an effort to clarify pick-up point locations for shop owners, technicians, and other guide users.

The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) sponsors this Guide annually as an industry service, utilizing data furnished exclusively for ALI by Chek-Chart Products, MOTOR Information Systems.
