CTEK has released its new MUS 4.3 Battery Charger, which is designed to solve a range of vehicle battery-related problems. Some of the charger’s features include battery diagnosis that shows if a battery can receive and retain a charge, a special reconditioning function that restores stratified and deeply discharged batteries, unique maintenance charging for maximized life and performance, a mode for optimized charging during cold winter days and the charging of demanding AGM batteries (i.e. Optima). A display allows the user to follow the entire charging process.

The battery’s accessories allow for connections to car, truck, motorcycle, lawn mower, snowmobile, sump pump, and tractor batteries. The 4.3 is water-resistant and dust proof and is spark and short-circuit proof, and reverse-polarity protected. The 4.3 also includes CTEK’s patented desulphation that extends the battery life as well as an automatic detection of end-of-life feature that warns users and eliminates surprises.

The MUS 4.3 comes with a selectable 0.8 A or 4.3 AMP for 12 Volt batteries from 1.2–110 Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160 Ah. The charging voltage is 14.4/14.7/15.8 V with a charging current of 4.3A max and works on 12 V lead-acid batteries. The MUS 4.3 is delivered with a 5-year warranty.
