COMMERCE, CA - The City of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting grand opening celebration for its new CNG/LNG fueling station on August 5. That station will be used to fuel the city’s fleet of natural gas vehicles, including seven full-size transit buses, four paratransit vans, and two smaller fleet vehicles. In addition, it will service LNG port trucks and will be open to the general public 24 hours per day.

CULVER CITY, CA - The City of Culver City has taken delivery of its first dedicated Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered paratransit buses. The three new buses operate on clean-burning natural gas to further compliment the City’s growing fleet and dedication to CNG-powered vehicles. They replace three ten-year-old gasoline-powered buses.

WATERTOWN, SD - The California Energy Commission (CEC) recently announced approval of nearly $500,000 in funds for a California Terex HyPower Hybrid retrofit project. The project, scheduled to be completed in January 2012, will retrofit 12 medium- and heavy-duty utility service vehicles with the Terex HyPower Hybrid System.
