The City of Dallas is continuing its transition to a greener fleet with the recent purchase of 99 compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks and vans. These vehicles being purchased are 65 Ford F-150 trucks, four F-250 trucks, and 30 E-250 vans.

The City expects to save more than $1 per gallon of fuel for its propane-autogas vehicles with the installation of its own propane-autogas fueling station. This savings will come from no longer having to pay for drop shipments of propane.
