In addition to her magazine work, Shelley creates marketing, advertising, and other promotional materials for clients large and small across the United States. Shelley is also devoted to helping companies build iconic brands and identify and communicate their unique value proposition. A self-proclaimed “word nerd,” Shelley thrives on helping companies and individuals achieve their goals through the power of language.

These experiences have allowed Shelley to specialize in many areas, including fleet, technology, transportation, insurance, education, engineering, consulting and fitness, but she’s truly passionate about any subject that lets her work with words.

Shelley has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Nebraska and a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Connecticut. In addition to her freelance career, Shelley is a communications and content marketing manager for a Fortune 150 company.
