Faster Asset Solutions and TransitCheck have introduced an integration designed to connect field inspection findings directly with fleet maintenance operations.
Integration Links Inspections to Maintenance Work Orders
Through the integration, inspection defects identified in TransitCheck are automatically transmitted into Faster as maintenance work orders. Fleet managers and technicians can address those issues within Faster, and once repairs are completed, updates are sent back to TransitCheck to maintain a real-time inspection-to-repair record.
The integration is intended to reduce manual handoffs and improve response times by creating a continuous workflow between inspections and maintenance.
Operational Benefits for Public-Sector Fleets
The companies say the integration supports faster issue resolution by eliminating duplicate reporting and manual data entry. It also provides time-stamped documentation from inspection through repair, which can strengthen compliance tracking and audit readiness.
In addition, linking field defects to maintenance planning may help fleets improve preventive maintenance practices and reduce service disruptions. The integration can be used for vehicles and other assets requiring routine inspections, including equipment and infrastructure.
