“The purpose of the APWA CPFP program is to promote excellence in fleet management by advancing the knowledge and practice of public fleet professionals to benefit communities through quality services,” said APWA Executive Director Peter King. “Employers feel confident hiring these professionals, because they have the knowledge, skills, and training that will benefit their agency, and keep it moving in an ever-changing environment,” King said.

The Certified Public Fleet Professional certification program launched computer-based testing in the Canada exam administration. Computer-based testing is now available in 2012 at more than 170 sites in the United States and more than 20 sites in Canada.
