SambaSafety, a provider of driver risk management solutions, announced that the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority selected SambaSafety’s cloud-based driver monitoring and training courses to proactively measure driver safety among its employees.

The Airport Authority has 350 employees and contractors that drive authority-owned vehicles as part of their jobs. To ensure compliance of all safety policies and empower drivers with up-do-date driving skills, the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority will leverage key features within SambaSafety’s Driver Risk Management solution.

SambaSafety’s cloud-based service provides employers with a 360-degree view of its drivers and gives employers the ability to continuously monitor driver behavior through an intuitive dashboard. With this insight, employers can take swift action to address unsafe driving behavior to reduce accidents, lower risk, decrease costs, and improve the safety performance of their employees.

Through the Driver Risk Management solution, SambaSafety delivers a wide range of functionality that enables employers to actively monitor driving performance. San Diego County Regional Airport Authority will leverage two key solutions through this service, Samba DriverMonitor and Samba DriverTraining.

“A critical component of ensuring the safety of drivers on-the-job is to have the most agile tools to proactively monitor driver performance,” said Richard Crawford, chief executive officer, SambaSafety.  “We are pleased to deliver our innovative services to San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, and we look forward to supporting their initiative to ensure the highest possible level of driving safety.”
