SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA - Fleet Management Solutions, Inc. (FMS) announced the recent award of GSA listing # GS07F0530W on Schedule 84 for the company's comprehensive satellite-based mobile fleet management and GPS tracking systems. Listing on the GSA Schedule provides government customers with the ability to conveniently procure and deploy FMS systems. FMS will showcase its full suite of solutions at FedFleet in Phoenix, AZ, July 13-15 in Booth # 841.

Schedule 84 includes Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire, Rescue, Marine Craft and Emergency/Disaster Response also known as SIN 426 4Q Vehicle Monitor (Tracking) Systems. The schedule includes all components needed for a complete solution, FMS hardware, Iridium satellite service and the FMS Fleet Central web-based monitoring application. FMS has a number of current government contracts and tier-one customers within the government sector. Areas of key focus include the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Detention and Removal Operations, with 2,000 systems and counting being deployed, Federal Bureau of Prisons, USAID, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Navy, and U.S. State Department.

"An increased government demand for GPS Fleet Tracking systems led us to seek a GSA contract," said Cliff Henley, CEO of FMS. "We are pleased to streamline the procurement process for government customers moving forward and to be among the first to deliver an Iridium satellite-based fleet management and tracking system via the GSA schedule."

FMS tracking modules installed in vehicles maintain continuous GPS location, direction, and speed information and combine that with vehicle performance data for complete mobile resource management. Fleet information is delivered from the vehicle via satellite, ensuring data delivery even in the most remote locations. Data is received, stored, and analyzed at the FMS Network Operations Center. Customers can securely access this information anytime, anywhere via FMS Fleet Central software using a web browser.
