The City of Navasota, Texas, has agreed to a lease agreement to replace city and police department vehicles with light-duty vehicles that are more fuel efficient and require less maintenance. The city will work with Enterprise Fleet Management to trade in 19 vehicles and purchase 16 for $93,000 per year for five years, the Navasota Examiner reported.
The lease covers maintenance, which will allow city staff more time for repairs to heavy equipment.
