The City of St. George is leasing three new pumper trucks for just over $2 million. The units will allow the Fire Department to retire reserve trucks that have been in use since the 1970s, the St. George News reported.
Each pumper truck will be leased for about $650,000, with 4.9% interest. The city will also take delivery of a $1.1 million ladder truck at the end of this year.
