City of Norwich (Conn.) residents will vote on whether or not to approve a $3.2 million bond to replace firefighting vehicles and equipment. Included would be money for an engine tanker, three pumpers, a large squad vehicle, and communications equipment, the Norwich Bulletin reported.
The city does not have a replacement fund, and elected officials say they should have a plan for replacing vehicles. City Council passed the ordinance to put up the bond for voting last week.
