Tuffy Security Products, a manufacturer of secure storage solutions, introduced the new patent-pending Model 324 Security Console Insert for 2016-MY and newer Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks.
The new console provides an increased level of security for the factory console, without any modifications, while maintaining the factory styling. The Model 324 allows for the full functional use of the factory accessory tray, and its armrest and lid.
The Model 324 Security Console Insert utilizes heavy-duty, 16-gauge welded steel construction, and features a pick-resistant 10-tumbler double-bitted lock. It includes Tuffy Security Products' exclusive Pry-Guard patented locking system, which is a deterrent to theft. The Pry-Guard latch mechanism is made from 1/8" (0.3175 cm) thick high-strength steel, and includes premium-quality, full perimeter built-in weather seals to control moisture and dust intrusion.
The console insert features a durable texture black powder coat finish. It offers over 330 cu. in. (more than 4,916 cc) of interior space, and features an exclusive lid support, which keeps the lid open while accessing contents, plus integrated bump stops for soft lid closures. The lid includes a built-in external accessory tray to keep convenience items within easy reach when the lid is closed.
The insert comes ready to install in just a few minutes without drilling, using simple hand tools.
