Indiana DOT Propane- and CNG-Fueled Vehicles

The Indiana Department of Transporation (INDOT) is converting nearly 600 cargo vans and pickup trucks out of its fleet of 3,500 to be capable of running on propane. In addition, INDOT is purchasing 19 CNG-fueled yellow plow trucks. These vehicles will reduce the amount of gasoline and diesel fuel used by INDOT by 500,000 gallons each year.
