The Warren County (Miss.) Sheriff’s Office has acquired its first all-weather patrol boat that will be used for law enforcement and search and rescue, the Vicksburg Post reported.
The state Department of Marine Resources donated the boat, a 33-foot boat with two 300-hp outboard motors capable of producing a speed of 30 knots. The boat no longer met the Department of Marine Resources’ needs.
