TORRANCE, CA – Bobit Business Media, a leading business-to-business media company, recently announced a new two-day conference for fleet professionals, the Green Fleet Conference. It will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on September 15-16, 2008.

The goal of this new conference is to present a forum for fleet professionals to learn and discuss real green technologies by separating facts from fiction. With gasoline and diesel prices hitting new records every week, going green is no longer just a trendy corporate goal.

However, the overall operational costs associated with developing and implementing an environmentally friendly fleet, together with all the state and other regulations, make it difficult for fleet managers to turn their fleets and facilities green.

The Green Fleet Conference will focus on these and other challenges in an information sharing program. Public and Commercial fleet management professionals will share real-world experience and practical, useful information that will enable fleet managers to go green without breaking the bank. Different clean fuel technologies, green fleet vehicles and equipment, and green infrastructures will be compared and analyzed, and experts will share where and how to get funding for these vehicles and technologies. The conference will also look at the future and discuss where the fleet industry is going in both the near term and the long term.

Online registration for the Green Fleet Conference is now open. Attendees who register before August 15 receive a $100 Early Bird Discount on the $595 conference pass.

Companies interested in sponsorship opportunities should contact Robert Brown at (248) 601-2005 or at robert.brown@bobit.com.

More information on the Green Fleet Conference, its speakers and sessions, in addition to registration and travel information can be found at www.greenfleetconference.com or by calling (800) 576-8788.
