ChargePoint has been awarded a new cooperative purchasing contract from Sourcewell to provide electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions to public agencies across the U.S. and Canada. This marks the company’s third consecutive agreement with Sourcewell since 2017.
Streamlined Access for Public Agencies
The contract allows municipalities, transit authorities, and public school districts to purchase ChargePoint chargers, software, and related services through a simplified procurement process with pre-negotiated pricing. Sourcewell’s competitive request for proposal (RFP) process ensures that the contract meets public purchasing requirements for transparency and value.
Through the agreement, eligible agencies can access Sourcewell-vetted pricing and support to deploy charging infrastructure without conducting their own bid process.
“This agreement continues our collaboration with Sourcewell to make it easier for public agencies to expand EV infrastructure,” said David Vice, chief revenue officer at ChargePoint. “Together, we’ve helped hundreds of local governments and school systems transition their fleets to electric.”
