New President Named at Kubota Tractor Corporation

TORRANCE, CA – Kubota Corporation has named Satoshi Iida as new President of Kubota Tractor Corporation, based in Torrance, Calif.

TORRANCE, CA – Kubota Corporation has named Satoshi Iida as new President of Kubota Tractor Corporation, based in Torrance, Calif. Iida, who has a Ph.D. in mechanical and systems engineering, has been with Kubota Corporation for 29 years and served in the company's engineering, utility tractor, and construction equipment divisions. He was previously appointed to executive level management positions within Kubota, including his most recent appointment, prior to joining Kubota Tractor Corporation, as President of Kubota Europe in France. Iida is a member of Kubota Corporation's Board of Directors.

Iida follows most recent President of Kubota Tractor Corporation, Tetsuji "Mike" Tomita, who was named Kubota Corporation's Division President, Farm and Industrial Machinery Consolidated Division, and General Manager International Operations Headquarters, in Osaka, Japan. Tomita was appointed President, Kubota Tractor Corporation in 2004. He previously served as President of Kubota's European operation and as General Manager, Kubota Export Department in Japan, along with additional Kubota experience in the United States. Tomita was appointed to Kubota Corporation's Board of Directors in 2005.
