The National Safety Council (NSC), the nation’s premier safety nonprofit, presented the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) with its 2025 Green Cross for Safety Excellence Award.
DCAS earned the distinction thanks to its relentless efforts in sustainability, zero emissions, and safety technology.
“This award from the National Safety Council is a powerful validation of our work to make New York City’s fleet the safest in the country,” said DCAS Commissioner Louis A. Molina. “We are proud to lead the way in protecting drivers, pedestrians, and all New Yorkers through innovative technology and data-driven safety policies.”
