The City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is adding 12 new vehicles to its plow fleet to tackle plowing for the rest of the winter season following concerns about aging vehicles and unplowed roads. The pickups and dump trucks — six purchased and six leased — will cost $470,000, according to Trib Live.
The city previously ordered 17 additional snow plows that have been delayed. It expects these new vehicles will be delivered much more quickly.
Spartan Emergency Response will delivery fire apparatus within 180 days under its new 180 Truck Program that was introduced at the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis.
