Zebulon Innovations is working with Neb.-based alternative-fuels companies Otte Oil and Propane and C.A.F.E. Nebraska to educate and promote the use of of liquid propane gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) for fleets.
C.A.F.E. Nebraska sells and installs both LPG and CNG vehicle conversion systems for Zebulon and has been performing conversions for five years, and Otte Oil and Propane has five public access LPG stations with four locations in Lincoln, Neb., and one station in Columbus, Ohio, according to the company.
Zebulon offers a complimentary estimated return on investment with no obligation for fleets looking to convert to alt-fuels, according to the company.
The Nebraska Energy Office rolled out their Clean-Burning Motor Vehicle Fuel Rebate Program in January, which offers qualifying fleets and personal vehicles a $4,500 per vehicle rebate to convert to LPG and CNG. Government fleets also qualify.
