The final Tier 4 Cat 963K track loader can work in soft, wet underfoot conditions and delivers fuel efficiency and improved performance. The track loader also offers updated cab and safety features for the comfort and convenience of the operator.
The 963K is powered by a 193 hp Cat C7.1 ACERT engine, offering fuel efficiency improvements over the previous model. An Eco Mode automatically reduces engine speed, but maintains selected ground speed when the machine is under light load. The more efficient engine and the Eco Mode combine to deliver a 10% to 30% reduction in fuel consumption compared to the 963D. The machine also offers efficient use of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) — typically 2.5% to 3% of fuel consumption.
The 963K offers additional productivity with an optional high retention bucket that moves 5% more material per hour. The Caterpillar telematics system, Product Link, is integrated into the 963K.
