The H930C backhoe from Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc., is designed for heavy-duty jobs in various applications such as small trenching projects, site preparation, and road and utility work. It will be available to the North American market toward the end of 2015. It is currently available to the Latin American market.

Hyundai’s H930C backhoe has an operating weight of 14,881 lbs. and is powered by an 87 hp Tier 2 Perkins 1104C-44T engine. The engine combines new combustion technology with internal Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), long oil change interval (600 hr), and an air grid heater as a cold start aid.  The H930C boasts a loader bucket capacity of 28.3 cubic feet, a trenching bucket capacity of 6 cubic feet  and a backhoe dig depth of 14 feet, 3 inches.

The H930C features an integrally welded loader boom, a strong and rigid loader frame, and a four-wheel-drive system. The loader attachment is equipped with an automatic return to dig function, designed to reduce loading cycle times. This function returns the loader to the dig position when the operator pulls the lever.

Convenient access to key machine components makes maintenance easier. A tilt-up hood makes the engine compartment easily accessible. The one-piece hood tilts away for easy ground line access to all critical service and grease points for reduced maintenance time and operator safety. The hydraulic oil sight gauge is installed on the side of the hydraulic tank for quick inspection from ground level. An integrated safety bar and locking pin are an integral part of the loader arm and guarantee operator safety when servicing.
