Bobcat Company has introduced four all-new, 60 frame size vertical lift path loaders to its product lineup: the T64 and T66 compact track loaders and S64 and S66 skid-steer loader models.

Those loaders join the T76 compact track loader and S76 skid-steer loader, which the company released earlier this year.

Bobcat loader marketing manager Sarah Peckskamp said the company plans to release additional R-Series loaders throughout this year, and the M2-series loaders are also available.

Cab Comfort: Roomier Design

R-Series loaders feature a new one-piece, sealed and pressurized cab design for improved operator comfort and service access. The roomier design offers a sealed and pressurized environment that repels dust and dirt in the cab, isolates the operator from engine and hydraulic noise, and improves heating and air conditioning efficiency. When maintenance or repairs are necessary, the entire R-series cab rotates out of the way for better service access. Hardware is located on the cab exterior for easier removal.

Additional features the company sees as beneficial to governments include a new clear-side enclosure option, automatic heat and air conditioning, heated air ride seat, and selectable joystick control.

Adaptable to Job Requirements

Most R-Series loaders offer Bobcat Standard (hand and foot) or a Selectable Joystick Control (SJC) option. Bobcat’s SJC control system also includes features that adapt the loader’s performance to specific job requirements. Those include speed management, horsepower management, steering drift compensation, and drive response mode.

For speed management, operators can dial in required travel speed in small increments. Bobcat designed the speed management feature to provide a full range of joystick motion at a slower speed.  Peckskamp said that provides operators with “precise control of machine movements while maintaining maximum driveline torque and full hydraulic power.”

Drive response mode features different settings to help keep operators in control, whether drivers prefer a more gradual response, instant feedback or something in between.
