Chevin Fleet Solutions, a global provider of fleet management software, is now supporting the Pinal County (Ariz.) fleet, ranging from light-duty to heavy-duty units. The county chose FleetWave to replace its existing management system after evaluating several software solutions, and is the very first client to make its purchase through Chevin’s exclusive four-year contract with the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA).

“We chose FleetWave for the flexibility of its web based hosted solution, and ease of use. Staff were frustrated with the software we had been using for more than a decade – integrations with Zonar and voyager were not an option and exporting the limited number of reports it offered was time consuming,” Louis Andersen, public works director, said. “With Chevin, we can easily integrate with our vehicle and equipment tracking, fuel cards and parts management systems; automate time-consuming data entry processes and remove the need for manual reporting. We will also have a live dashboard for monitoring equipment and drivers in each department.”

In Pinal County, FleetWave data will be accessed by many users and will be integrated with several systems, including the Electronic Verified Inspection Reporting (EVIR) system from Zonar; CSI Voyager Fleet Fuel Cards, and the NAPA PROLINK e-procurement application.

Chevin is the first fleet management software provider to integrate with NAPA PROLINK, allowing fleet and shop managers to access the online ordering system – directly from FleetWave – to automatically issue purchase orders. The PROLINK integration also links parts purchases to repair orders, for enhanced workflow management.

FleetWave is available through an exclusive contract to over 50,000 members of the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), an invaluable Service Cooperative partner providing member-centered solutions that enable public sector agencies to work more efficiently, leveraging resources to effectively re-invest in the communities it serves. Eligible membership and participation includes states, cities, counties, all government agencies, both public and non-public educational agencies, colleges, universities and non-profit organizations.
