Daimler Trucks North America: Fuel Filter Hoses May Disconnect and Leak Fuel
Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Freightliner Custom Chassis XCM, 2022-2025 Custom Chassis XCR, 2024 Custom Chassis XBS, and 2024-2025 Custom Chassis XCS chassis, equipped with certain Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.
Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 11, 2025.
Daimler Trucks North America: Loss of Drive Power
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Freightliner eCascadia and 2022-2026 Freightliner eM2 trucks. The electric vehicle power distribution module (EVDM) may not be assembled properly, which can cause electrical circuits to disconnect and result in a loss of drive power.
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Loose Transmission Cross Member Bolts
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator vehicles. The transmission may be improperly secured due to loose cross member bolts.
Dealers will inspect and replace the transmission cross member bolts as necessary, free of charge. If the cross member bolts are missing, dealers will replace the cross member and install new bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 29, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Steering Gear Assembled Incorrectly
Ford is recalling certain 2024 F-150 vehicles. The steering gear assembly may have been assembled with an incorrect rack, which can cause the gears to fracture.
Dealers will replace the steering gear assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed February 10, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Rearview Camera Image May Not Display
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 Expedition, 2021-2022 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, and 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles. The rearview camera may display a blank or distorted image.
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed February 17, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Instrument Panel Display Failure/FMVSS 101 & 102
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 Bronco Sport, Escape, and Lincoln Corsair vehicles. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may not illuminate at startup or while driving.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays" and 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect" as well as FMVSS numbers 126, 108, 135, 138, 208, and 305.
Dealers will replace the instrument panel cluster, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 10, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Improperly Secured Seat Belt Buckle Anchor Bolts
Ford is recalling certain 2020-2021 Explorer and Aviator vehicles. The seat belt buckle anchor bolts at one or more seating positions may be improperly secured. Additionally, vehicles may have an improperly secured seat belt retractor anchor bolt and/or seat belt anchor bolt at the second-row center seating position, if equipped.
Dealers will inspect seat belt buckle anchor bolts in all seating positions. Additionally, dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor anchor bolt and seat belt anchor bolt at the second-row center seating position, if equipped.
If loose anchor bolts are found, the affected seat components will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Missing Warning for Turn Signal Failure/FMVSS 108
Ford is recalling certain 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V-848. In the event that one of the rear turn signals stops working, the vehicle will not adjust the turn signal flash rate frequency to warn the driver that a turn signal has failed.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025.
General Motors: Chrome Front Grille Deflector May Detach
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with chrome front grille deflectors. The attachments that hold the front grille deflectors in place may fracture, resulting in grille detachment.
The remedy is currently in development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 24, 2025.
General Motors: Driver's Door Impact Beam Improperly Welded
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. The impact beam located in the driver's side door may have improper welds.
Dealers will replace the driver's side door, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 6, 2025.
Mack Trucks: Missing ABS Function for Trailer/FMVSS 121
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2010-2018 MRU and 2019-2025 Terrapro towing vehicles. The vehicles are missing the anti-lock brake (ABS) warning light and circuitry that controls the anti-lock brake function for an attached trailer. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Dealers will add an ABS warning light and circuitry, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 21, 2025.
PACCAR Incorporated: Exterior Lighting Switch Failure/FMVSS 101 & 108
PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2025 Kenworth T180, Peterbilt 535, 567, 2025-2026 Kenworth T280, 2023-2026 Kenworth T380, 2024-2026 Kenworth T480, 2024-2026 Peterbilt 536, 537, and 548 trucks.
The exterior lighting switch may fail, resulting in the hazard lights and the instrument display back-light brightness adjustment not functioning. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment."
Dealers will update the vehicle cab controller unit (VECU) software, free of charge. Owners are advised that a non-responsive switch can be temporarily reset by a key cycle. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2025.
Palfinger: Incorrectly Positioned Rear Marker Lights/FMVSS108
Palfinger is recalling certain 2017-2025 FHS 55 and GLS 55 vehicles. The outer rear marker lights were installed in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Dealers will install a steel plate and relocate the lights, free of charge.
Tesla: Loss of Power Steering Assist
Tesla is recalling certain 2023 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles operating software prior to 2023.38.4. The printed circuit board for the electronic power steering assist may experience an overstress condition, causing a loss of power steering assist when the vehicle reaches a stop and then accelerates again.
Tesla has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 25, 2025.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing: Rear Brake Hose May Leak
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles. The rear brake hoses can be damaged if mud and dirt builds up inside the rear wheels. This can result in a brake fluid leak.
Dealers will replace both rear brake hoses, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed March 24, 2025. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available.
