Government Fleet has a roundup of the latest recalls of popular fleet vehicles and equipment.

Braun: Wheelchair Restraint Retractors May Not Lock

Braun Corporation is recalling certain 2021–2025 Chrysler Pacifica, 2022–2025 Toyota Sienna, and 2022–2026 Honda Odyssey vehicles equipped with wheelchair restraint retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 19, 2025.


Chrysler: High Voltage Battery May Fail Internally

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020–2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022–2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

Owners are advised to park outside, avoid structures, and not charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software and replace the battery as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 2, 2025.


Chrysler: Steering Module May Prevent Airbag Deployment

Chrysler is recalling certain 2021–2022 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 vehicles. The steering column control module may prevent the driver airbag from deploying as intended.

Dealers will replace the steering column control module, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 11, 2025.


Chrysler: Debris in Engine May Cause Failure or Fire

Chrysler is recalling certain 2023–2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4Xe and 2024–2025 Wrangler 4Xe plug-in hybrid vehicles. Debris inside the engine may cause engine failure, resulting in loss of drive power or an engine compartment fire.

The remedy is under development. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 29, 2025.


Coach and Equipment: Wheelchair Retractors May Not Lock

Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp. is recalling certain 2025 Phoenix transit buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing proper wheelchair securement.

Dealers will inspect and replace retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 1, 2025.


Endera: Wheelchair Restraint Retractors May Not Lock

Endera Motors is recalling certain 2024–2026 shuttle transit buses equipped with wheelchair restraint retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed Nov. 21, 2025.


Ford: Seat Pivot Bolts May Loosen

Ford is recalling certain 2021–2023 Bronco vehicles. The front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt.

Dealers will replace the pivot links and bolts, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed Nov. 6, 2025.


Ford: HVAC Blower Motor May Fail

Ford is recalling certain 2026 Econoline vehicles. The HVAC blower motor may fail, causing the defrosting and defogging system to stop functioning.

Dealers will replace the blower motor assembly, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed Nov. 6, 2025.


Ford: Moonroof Wind Deflector May Detach

Ford is recalling certain 2021–2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021–2023 F-150, 2022 F-250/350/450 SD vehicles. Moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached, allowing the deflector to detach.

Dealers will inspect and repair the wind deflector as needed, free of charge. Letters were mailed Nov. 10, 2025.


Ford: Windshield Bubbles May Impair Visibility

Ford is recalling certain 2025–2026 Lincoln Corsair, Lincoln Aviator, and Explorer vehicles. The windshield may contain air bubbles that obscure visibility.

Dealers will inspect and replace windshields as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed Nov. 6, 2025.


Ford: Rear Lightbar May Accumulate Moisture

Ford is recalling certain 2022–2023 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles previously repaired under recall 23V418. Microcracks in the lightbar may allow moisture intrusion.

Dealers will inspect and replace the rear lightbar as needed, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed Nov. 10, 2025.


Ford: B-Pillar Trim May Detach

Ford is recalling certain 2017–2019 Flex vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-pillar trim may detach while driving.

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the trim as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed Dec. 17, 2025.


Ford: Brake Booster ECU Cover May Overheat

Ford is recalling certain 2025 Maverick and Escape vehicles. The brake booster ECU cover may cause the printed circuit board to overheat, disabling stability control and brake assist.

Dealers will replace the electric brake booster, free of charge. Letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 24, 2025.


Ford: Instrument Panel Cluster May Fail on Startup

Ford is recalling certain 2025–2026 Bronco and Bronco Sport vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may fail during startup.

Dealers will update the cluster software via dealer service or OTA update, free of charge. Letters are expected Dec. 8, 2025.


Ford: High Voltage Battery May Short and Fail

Ford is recalling certain 2020–2024 Escape and 2021–2024 Lincoln Corsair plug-in hybrid vehicles. A cell manufacturing defect may cause an internal short circuit and battery failure.

Interim letters advising limited charging will be mailed Dec. 1, 2025.


General Motors: Roof-Rail Airbag Inflators May Rupture

General Motors is recalling certain 2014 Buick Verano and Chevrolet Cruze vehicles. Roof-rail airbag inflators may rupture at the weld joint.

Dealers will replace the RRAB modules, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 22, 2025.


General Motors: Brake Jumper Wire Harness Missing Tape

General Motors is recalling certain 2019–2020 Chevrolet Silverado Medium Duty 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD vehicles. A previously installed brake jumper wire harness may be missing protective tape.

Dealers will remove, tape, and reinstall the harness, free of charge. Letters are planned for Dec. 22, 2025.


Heil: CNG Manual Cylinder Valves May Leak

The Heil Co. is recalling certain 2023–2025 side-loader garbage trucks equipped with Agility CNG fuel systems. Manual cylinder valves may develop stress-corrosion cracks, causing leaks.

Agility replaced the valves in all affected trucks by Aug. 14, 2025.


Honda: Software Error May Cause Loss of Power

Honda is recalling certain 2023–2025 Accord Hybrid vehicles. A software error may cause the integrated control module CPU to reset while driving, resulting in loss of power.

Dealers will reprogram the CPU software, free of charge. Owner letters are expected Jan. 5, 2026.


Hyundai: Fuel Tank May Melt Due to Check Valve Issue

Hyundai is recalling certain 2020–2023 Sonata vehicles. A damaged check valve may allow air into the fuel tank, causing expansion and contact with hot exhaust components.

Dealers will inspect and replace components as necessary, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 16, 2026.


Hyundai: Seat Belt Retractors May Be Loose

Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 IONIQ 5 vehicles. The seat belt retractors may not be securely fastened.

Dealers will inspect and secure the retractors, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 16, 2026.


Hyundai: Rearview Camera Wiring May Be Damaged

Hyundai is recalling certain 2024–2025 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid vehicles. The rearview camera may be installed improperly, damaging the wiring harness and disabling the camera.

Dealers will replace the camera and reposition wiring, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 19, 2026.


Hyundai: Curtain Airbags May Be Installed Incorrectly

Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 Tucson, 2025–2026 Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Santa Fe Hybrid, and 2026 Genesis GV70 vehicles. Side curtain airbags may be improperly installed.

Dealers will reinstall the airbags, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 19, 2026.


Kia: Spare Tire May Be Incorrect

Kia is recalling certain 2025 Telluride and 2026 Sorento vehicles. An incorrect spare tire may impair ABS and traction control.

Dealers will replace the spare tire assembly, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 3, 2025.


Kia: Fuel Tank May Melt Due to Check Valve Issue

Kia is recalling certain 2021–2024 K5 vehicles. A damaged check valve may cause fuel tank expansion and contact with hot exhaust components.

Dealers will replace the check valve and inspect/replace damaged tanks, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 16, 2026.


Marion Body Works: Door Latch Lever May Bind

Marion Body Works is recalling certain 2024–2025 Spartan Fire FC-94, Gladiator, and Metrostar vehicles. The actuator lever arm in the cab door latch may bind, preventing opening.

Dealers will replace door latches as necessary, free of charge. Letters expected Nov. 10, 2025.


Mazda: Front Suspension Bolts May Be Loose

Mazda is recalling certain 2025 CX-50 and CX-50 Hybrid vehicles. Front suspension fastener bolts may be improperly tightened, leading to wheel or suspension detachment.

Dealers will inspect and replace/tighten bolts, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 28, 2025.


McNeilus: Reflex Reflectors May Be Missing (Volterra)

McNeilus is recalling certain 2024–2025 Volterra side-loader trucks. The intermediate side reflex reflectors may be missing.

McNeilus will install the side reflectors, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 22, 2025.


McNeilus: Reflectors and Lights May Be Missing (Metro Pak)

McNeilus is recalling certain 2021–2025 Metro Pak vehicles. Side and rear reflectors and clearance lights may be missing.

Dealers will install reflectors and lights, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 22, 2025.


McNeilus: Software Error May Move Grabber Fingers Unintentionally

McNeilus is recalling certain 2024–2025 Volterra ZSL side-loader garbage trucks. A software error may cause grabber fingers to move without operator input.

Software will be updated free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 9, 2026.


Mercedes-Benz: Radar Sensor Board May Fail

Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2025 AMG G63 and G 580 vehicles. The radar sensor circuit board may fail, disabling braking and driver-assistance features.

Dealers will replace the sensor, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 16, 2025.


Nissan: Windshield Glass May Contain Air Bubbles

Nissan is recalling certain 2025 Sentra vehicles. The windshield may have visible air bubbles, impairing visibility.

Dealers will inspect and replace windshields, free of charge. Letters expected Jan. 15, 2026.


Tesla: Off-Road Light Bar May Detach

Tesla is recalling certain 2024 Cybertruck vehicles equipped with a service-installed off-road light bar. An incorrect surface primer may prevent proper adhesion.

Tesla Service will install an additional attachment or replace the light bar, free of charge. Letters expected Dec. 26, 2025.


Toyota: Rearview Camera May Freeze or Go Blank

Toyota is recalling certain 2022–2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor. A software error may freeze the rearview image.

Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Interim letters expected Dec. 16, 2025.


Toyota: Debris in Engine May Cause Bearing Failure

Toyota is recalling certain 2022–2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles with V35A engines. Debris may contaminate the engine and cause main bearing failure.

Remedy is under development. Interim letters expected Dec. 22, 2025.
