Alexis Fire Equipment: Door Latch May Bind
Alexis Fire Equipment Company is recalling certain 2020–2025 Pumper, 2024 Rescue, and 2020–2024 Tanker fire trucks built on Spartan chassis. The actuator lever arm in the Spartan cab door latch may bind or become wedged, preventing the door from opening.
Dealers will inspect and replace the door latches as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 27, 2025.
BMW: Battery Cables May Be Loose
BMW is recalling certain 2026 M4 and 430i vehicles. The positive battery cables may not be properly connected to the power distribution box, resulting in an engine stall and potential fire.
Dealers will inspect and replace cables and the power distribution box as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 17, 2025.
BMW: Starter Motor May Overheat
BMW is recalling certain 2020 340i, X6, 2020–2025 840i, 2020–2022 740Li, and 2019–2020 X7 and X5 vehicles. Repeated start attempts may cause the starter motor to overheat from electrical overload.
Dealers will replace the engine starter, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 17, 2025.
Chrysler: Shifter Cable May Detach
Chrysler is recalling certain 2013–2016 Dodge Dart vehicles. The shifter cable may detach from the transmission, preventing the vehicle from shifting into Park and causing a loss of park function.
The remedy is under development. Interim letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed Nov. 6, 2025.
Chrysler: Electric Drive Module May Fail
Chrysler is recalling certain 2024–2025 Ram ProMaster battery electric vehicles. The electric drive module software may not properly manage torque, resulting in a potential loss of drive power.
Dealers will update the software for several control modules and inspect and replace the electric drive module as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 30, 2025.
Chrysler: Rearview Camera May Fail
Chrysler is recalling certain 2020–2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio vehicles. A defect in the printed circuit board or software may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying correctly.
Dealers will inspect and replace the radio and update the rearview camera software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 25, 2025.
Chrysler: Radiator Fan Circuit May Overheat
Chrysler is recalling certain 2018–2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The electrical circuit for the radiator fan may overheat, posing a fire risk.
The remedy is under development. Interim letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed Nov. 20, 2025.
Ford: Seat Belt Anchors May Corrode
Ford is recalling certain 2015–2017 Mustang vehicles. Water and road salt may corrode the front seat belt anchor pretensioner cables.
Dealers will inspect and replace both front seat belt anchor pretensioner assemblies and modify the carpet area as needed, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed Oct. 20, 2025.
Ford: Airbag Deployment May Be Blocked
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Ranger vehicles. The instrument panel top cover may interfere with passenger airbag deployment.
Dealers will replace the instrument panel assembly, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 24, 2025.
Ford: Windshield May Detach
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. The windshield may not be properly bonded, allowing it to detach during a crash.
Dealers will remove and replace the windshield, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 20, 2025.
Ford: Engine Block Heater May Crack
Ford is recalling certain 2016–2019 Lincoln MKC, 2016–2023 Explorer, 2019–2020 Fusion, 2019–2024 Ranger, 2020–2022 Lincoln Corsair, Escape, 2021–2024 Bronco, Bronco Sport, and 2022–2024 Maverick vehicles. The engine block heater may crack and leak coolant, leading to a short circuit.
Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until repairs are completed. Dealers will replace the heater, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 24, 2025.
Ford: Rearview Camera May Malfunction
Ford is recalling certain 2020–2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The 360-degree camera system may not display a proper image in some lighting conditions.
Dealers will update the image processing module software, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 20, 2025.
Ford: Trailer Hitch Bolts May Be Loose
Ford is recalling certain 2024–2025 Explorer and 2024–2026 Lincoln Aviator vehicles. Trailer hitch assembly bolts may be loose.
Dealers will inspect and tighten or replace the bolts as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 27, 2025.
Ford: Brake Warning Light May Fail
Ford is recalling certain 2021–2023 Mustang vehicles that were previously repaired under recall 23V727. The brake fluid level sensor may not activate a warning when fluid is low.
Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 17, 2025.
Ford: Pedestrian Warning Sound May Fail
Ford is recalling certain 2024–2026 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid and 2025 Explorer Hybrid Police vehicles. A software error may prevent the pedestrian warning sound from playing at certain speeds.
Dealers will update the audio and signal processing module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 10, 2025.
Ford: Brake Pads May Be Defective
Ford is recalling certain 2020 Escape vehicles. Rear brake pads may have been incorrectly manufactured, reducing brake performance.
Dealers will replace the front brake pads, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in Oct. 2025.
Ford: Rearview Camera May Fail
Ford is recalling certain 2015–2019 Flex, 2015 Explorer, Lincoln MKT, Lincoln MKZ, 2015–2016 C-Max, Escape, Taurus, 2016 Fusion, 2018–2019 Taurus, 2019 Lincoln MKT, Fiesta, and 2020 Mustang vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image.
Dealers will inspect and replace the camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed in Oct. 2025.
General Motors: Pedestrian Alert May Fail
General Motors is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV vehicles. The pedestrian alert sound system may not change volume between stopped and moving states, failing to meet federal standards.
Dealers will update the body control module software either through a dealer or over-the-air update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 10, 2025.
General Motors: Tires May Detach Tread
General Motors is recalling certain 2025–2026 Cadillac Optiq and Chevrolet Equinox EV vehicles equipped with 21-inch Continental all-season tires. Some tires may experience partial or full tread detachment.
Dealers will inspect and replace affected tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 1, 2025.
Hyundai: Starter Motor Cover Improperly Installed
Hyundai is recalling certain 2024–2025 Santa Fe vehicles. The positive terminal cover on the starter motor may be improperly installed, leading to an electrical short during a crash.
Dealers will inspect and reinstall the cover as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Oct. 22, 2025.
Kia: HVAC Wiring May Overheat
Kia is recalling certain 2021–2023 Sorento vehicles. The HVAC blower motor wiring harness may be inadequate, increasing the risk of a fire.
Dealers will replace the wiring harness and blower motor resistor, free of charge. Interim notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 24, 2025.
Nissan: Battery May Overheat During Fast Charging
Nissan is recalling certain 2021–2022 LEAF vehicles equipped with a Level 3 quick charging port. The lithium-ion battery may overheat during charging.
Owners are advised not to use Level 3 charging until repairs are made. Dealers will update the battery software, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 24, 2025.
Tesla: Reverse Lights May Fail
Tesla is recalling certain 2026 Model Y vehicles. The reverse lights may fail to illuminate when in reverse, violating federal lighting standards.
Tesla Service will replace the reverse lights and facia harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 30, 2025.
Tesla: Battery Contactor May Fail
Tesla is recalling certain 2025 Model 3 and 2026 Model Y vehicles. The battery pack contactors may fail, causing a loss of drive power.
Tesla Service will replace the battery pack contactors, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 9, 2025.
Toyota: Driveshaft May Break
Toyota is recalling certain 2025 Tacoma and Tacoma Hybrid vehicles. The front driveshaft constant-velocity joint may deform and break.
Dealers will inspect and replace both front driveshaft assemblies as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 16, 2025.
Toyota: Rearview Camera May Fail
Toyota is recalling certain 2022–2025 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, and 2023–2025 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles. A software error may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying when in reverse.
Dealers will update the multimedia software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 16, 2025.
Toyota: Seat Rails May Be Improperly Welded
Toyota is recalling certain 2025 Sienna Hybrid vehicles. The second-row seat rails may be welded improperly.
Dealers will replace the seat rails, free of charge.
Interim letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 21, 2025.
Volkswagen/Audi: Seat Belt Retractors May Be Damaged
Volkswagen Group of America is recalling certain 2025 GTI, Golf R, Audi A5, A6 Sportback E-Tron, S5, S6 Sportback E-Tron, and 2026 Q4 Sportback E-Tron and Q4 E-Tron vehicles. The torsion bar in one or both front seat belt retractors may have been damaged during production.
Dealers will replace one or both front seat belts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 21, 2025.
Volvo: Tailgate May Drop Unexpectedly
Volvo is recalling certain 2025 EX90 vehicles. A spindle nut may detach from the power-operated tailgate drive units, causing the tailgate to drop suddenly.
Owners are advised not to use the tailgate until repairs are completed. Dealers will replace both drive units, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 18, 2025.
