Government fleet vehicle sales saw several drops last month compared to the previous month and April of 2025, according to Bobit Business Media fleet numbers released.
First, there was a 25% decrease in government fleet sales from 25,835 vehicles in April 2024 to 19,385 in 2025. [Hyundai, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota sales numbers were not present for government fleets during these periods].
There was also a declined from the previous month with 20,641 vehicles sold in March compared to the 19,385 vehicles sold in April.
Car, Truck, and SUV Sales Comparison
Compared to April of 2024, last month's sales were down across the board.
Car sales saw the biggest drop with only 111 vehicles sold last month compared to the 571 vehicles sold in April 2024. Truck and SUV sales went from 25,264 vehicles sold in April 2024 to 19,274 vehicles sold in 2025.
YTD, total government vehicle sales are down by 17.6%, a difference of 16,182 vehicles.
