TORRANCE, CA - Government Fleet is providing fleet professionals a way to network with industry peers without ever leaving their computer. By joining the newly created group on LinkedIn.com, an online social networking site designed especially for professionals, the convenience of getting to know other fleet professionals, sharing best practices, getting answers to urgent questions, and forging partnerships can be done any time of the day from any location.

When you join, you create a profile that summarizes your professional accomplishments. Your profile helps you find and be found by colleagues, prospective employers, and partners. You can add more connections by inviting trusted contacts to join LinkedIn and connect to you. Meet your colleagues in government fleets, fleet services organizations, public and private fleet sectors across the country and stay connected throughout the year.

  • Have a specific question on how to deal with a particular fleet issue? Maybe you are thinking about "greening" your fleet? Or how to deal with your fleet budget during our declining economy. Post it on the discussion forum and have your peers help you out!

  • Want to know who your peers are across the country? Sign up and search through other group member profiles.

  • Are you looking for employment in the fleet arena? Connect with others who can help you with your job search.

Joining is free and simple. Just go to the GF Group Page found at http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/993207 and accept the invitation to join. If you don't already have a LinkedIn profile, the process is easy and a basic profile can be developed in a few minutes.

Do you prefer Facebook? GF has also launched a Facebook Group as another avenue for connecting with others in the fleet industry. Click here to view site: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=101119430127&ref=mf.

We look forward to networking with you in the future!
