Altec Industries, Inc: Voltage Spikes from Power Distribution Module
Altec is recalling certain 2020 TA Series, 2019 L Series Aerial Device, 2018-2025 Service Body, LS Series, and AT Series trucks. The Power Distribution Module (PDM 10) circuit may experience a voltage spike, which can damage the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and disrupt chassis functions, including the PTO switch, rearview mirror, or rearview camera.
Altec will install a diode to the ignition hot circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 8, 2025.
Battle Motors, Inc: Steering Wheel May Loosen and Detach
Battle Motors is recalling certain 2024-2025 Let2 trucks. The steering wheel retaining nut may have been improperly tightened, allowing the steering wheel to loosen and detach from the steering shaft.
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the repairs are completed. Dealers will inspect and tighten the steering wheel retaining nut as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2025.
Braun Industries, Inc: Cushion Equipment Storage May Detach
Braun Ambulances is recalling certain 2016-2018 Demers MXP150E, MX164E, 2016-2024 Transit TSE, and 2024 Transit TXE vehicles. The cushion equipment storage may not have been properly installed, resulting in unsecured equipment.
Dealers will replace the cushion assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 18, 2025.
Custom Truck And Body Works: Overloaded Electrical System May Cause Fire
Custom Truck is recalling certain 2020 Ford F-550 vehicles equipped with Weldon 8X16 Input-Output nodes. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware in the node may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.
Custom Truck will work with Weldon to update the firmware, free of charge.
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC: Incorrectly Installed Battery Connection May Cause Fire
DTNA is recalling certain 2020-2026 Western Star 49X and 2021-2026 Western Star 47X vehicles. A stud connecting the battery to the starter at the frame rail may have been incorrectly installed, which can cause a short circuit.
The remedy is currently under development. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.
Ford Motor Company: TPMS Light May Not Illuminate/FMVSS 138
Ford is recalling certain 2022 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles equipped with 20" or 22" all season tires that were repaired incorrectly under recall 22V-453. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light may not illuminate as intended, failing to warn the driver of low tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
Dealers will update the body control module (BCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Engine Oil Leak May Cause Fire
Ford is recalling certain 2023-2025 Escape, and 2025 Bronco Sport vehicles. The cylinder head may have been improperly manufactured, which can cause the ball plugs to fail, resulting in an oil leak.
Dealers will replace the cylinder head assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 17, 2025. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Loose Bolts on Front Brake Caliper
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Explorer vehicles. The bolts securing the front brake caliper may not be tightened properly, which can result in a loss of front brake function and possible wheel damage.
Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts as necessary. If bolts are missing, the brake caliper and pads will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 19, 2025.
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC): Missing Pedestrian Warning Sounds/FMVSS 141
Chrysler is recalling certain 2024-2025 Dodge Charger vehicles. The amplifier may be missing software, which can prevent the amplifier from emitting exterior sound, including pedestrian warnings. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 141, "Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid Electric Vehicles."
Dealers will inspect and update the amplifier software, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 10, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Back Seat Occupants May Become Trapped
Ford is recalling certain 2021-2025 Mustang Mach E vehicles. In the event of a low battery charge, the electronic door latches may remain locked once the driver or front passenger exits and shuts the door, possibly trapping someone who is unable to use the inside door release handles, such as a child in the back seat.
Dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module C (SOBDMC) software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk will be mailed June 23, 2025. Second letters will be mailed once the remedy is available, anticipated for September 29, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Sudden Loss of Brake Function
Ford is recalling certain 2025 F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, and F-250 SD vehicles. The brake booster pushrod retaining spring may not have been installed, which can allow the pushrod to disconnect from the brake pedal and cause a sudden loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems" and 105, "Hydraulic and electric brake systems."
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they have been repaired. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake pedal assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 20, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Improperly Displaying Instrument Panel/FMVSS 101, 126
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Ranger trucks. The instrument panel was not properly configured, preventing many of the warning lights or gauges from properly displaying. This includes forward collision warnings, auto emergency braking, traction control, roll stability, and other gauges. The fuel gauge, distance to empty, and fuel economy may also not show accurately. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays" and 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."
Dealers will update the instrument panel software, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed June 23, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Damaged Wire Harness May Cause Engine Stall
Ford is recalling certain 2025 F-150 trucks. Contact with the engine coolant hose may chafe the engine wire harness or cause a pull out of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector pins, causing the engine to stall.
Dealers will inspect, replace the engine wire harness as necessary, and relocate the engine coolant hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 28, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Passenger Air Bag May Deploy Improperly/FMVSS 208
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Bronco vehicles. The active vent flap on the passenger side may prevent the air bag from deploying as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Dealers will replace the passenger air bag module, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters stating the safety risk are expected to be mailed June 28, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Vehicle Rollaway Risk/FMVSS 114
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Mustang Mach E vehicles. The park rod may fail to engage when the vehicle is placed in the park (P) position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention."
Dealers will replace the transmission park rod assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 22, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Second-Row Seat May Move Unexpectedly
Ford is recalling certain 2020-2025 Aviator, and Explorer vehicles. The switch for the easy-entry second-row outer seats may bind or stick, resulting in the seats unlatching, folding, or sliding unexpectedly while driving.
Dealers will inspect the second-row seat switch, and replace the bezel around the switch as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed June 23, 2025. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Block Heater May Overheat and Cause Fire
Ford is recalling certain 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus, 2023-2025 Escape, 2023 Lincoln Corsair, 2025 Lincoln Corsair, Maverick, and Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with a 1.5L or 2.0L MPC engine and an engine block heater. The engine block heater may overheat when the vehicle is parked with the block heater plugged in.
Dealers will replace the block heater element and inspect the electrical cord, replacing it if necessary, free of charge. Owners will also have a alternative option to replace engine block heater element with a threaded blanking plug coupled, and remove the block heater electrical cord. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed June 11, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Engine Failure
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Transit, F-150, and Explorer vehicles. The connecting rod and rod bearing components may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine damage and engine failure.
The remedy is under development. Owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed June 9, 2025. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Engine Failure May Cause Fire
Ford is recalling certain 2020-2023 Escape, 2021-2023 Corsair, and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles equipped with 2.5L HEV or PHEV engines that were repaired incorrectly under recall 23V380. In the event of an engine failure, engine oil and fuel vapor may be released into the engine compartment and accumulate near ignition sources such as hot engine or exhaust components, possibly resulting in an engine compartment fire.
Owners are advised to park and shut off the engine as quickly as possible if they hear unexpected engine noises, notice a reduction in vehicle power, or see smoke. Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Driver and Passenger Door Trim May Detach
Ford is recalling certain 2016-2017 Explorer vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.
The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed June 5, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available.
Ford Motor Company: Reverse Lights May Not Function
Ford is recalling certain 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with the Onboard Scales feature that were repaired incorrectly under recall 24V443. An over-the-air software update to the body control module (BCM) may have disabled both reverse lights.
Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 9, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Air Bag Status Indicator Light Not Visible/FMVSS 208
Ford is recalling certain 2025 Maverick vehicles. The airbag indicator light on the dashboard may be loose or dislodged and not visible to occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Dealers will install air bag indicator light retaining clips, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 24, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Rearview Camera Malfunction/FMVSS 111
Ford is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with 8-inch SYNC infotainment screens that were repaired incorrectly under recall 22V-825. The rearview camera image may still be displayed after a backing event has ended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Dealers will update SYNC module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Loss of Steering from Front Control Arm Separation
Ford is recalling certain 2024-2025 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. The front upper control arm ball joint fastener may be missing or tightened improperly, allowing the front upper control arm to detach from the knuckle assembly.
Dealers will inspect and tighten, or replace the ball joint fastener as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 23, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Deactivated Electronic Stability Control/FMVSS 126
Ford is recalling certain 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V801. The SYNC software may fail to activate the electronic stability control (ESC) system at the beginning of each ignition cycle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."
Dealers will update the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Rearview Camera Image May Not Display
Ford is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2023-2024 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.
The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed June 16, 2025. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated for third quarter 2025.
Ford Motor Company: Loss of Steering from Front Control Arm Separation
Ford is recalling certain 2024-2025 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles. The front upper control arm ball joint nut may not have been tightened properly, allowing the front upper control arm to detach from the knuckle assembly.

GEM WAEV LLC: The Wheel May Separate From The Ball Joint
GEM is recalling certain 2022-2025 e2, e4, e6, and eLXD vehicles. The retaining fasteners between the ball joint and the hub strut may have been improperly tightened, which can result in ball joint separation from the wheel.
Dealers will inspect and tighten the retaining fasteners or replace the ball joints as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 24, 2025.
General Motors, LLC: Brake Pressure Switch May Short and Cause Fire
GM is recalling certain 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado Medium Duty 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD vehicles. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit.
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the brake pressure switch wire harness, free of charge. Nissan North America, Inc: Rearview Camera Image May Not Display/FMVSS 111
Nissan is recalling certain 2025 Frontier and Kicks vehicles. The center information display unit may display a blank screen when shifted into reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Dealers will update the software on the vehicle’s center information display, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2025.
International Motors, LLC: Brake Pressure Switch May Short and Cause Fire

Reading is recalling certain 2021 Rail Gear HD trucks. Welds may crack and fail, allowing the front rail gear to shift and contact the road.
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Reading will reweld the joints between the rail gear and chassis, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 18, 2025.
Shyft Group: Missing Tire Placard/FMVSS 110
Shyft is recalling certain 2022-2024 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The vehicles may be missing the tire and information placard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Tesla, Inc: Windshield Wipers Nozzles May be Blocked/FMVSS 104
Tesla is recalling certain 2026 Model Y vehicles. The hose connector may block the windshield washer nozzles, preventing washer fluid from reaching the windshield. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems."
Tesla service will inspect and replace the wiper arm elbow connector as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 28, 2025.
Tesla, Inc: Seat Assembly Fasteners Improperly Tightened
Tesla is recalling certain 2026 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. The fasteners attaching the seat back to the seat bottom may have been improperly tightened.
Tesla Service Centers will inspect and tighten or replace the seat assembly fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 16, 2025.
