Caterpillar, Global Rental, Sunbelt, and United Rental have been awarded contracts in the Equipment Rental with Related Services category.

Caterpillar, Global Rental, Sunbelt, and United Rental have been awarded contracts in the Equipment Rental with Related Services category. Participating agencies have access to a variety of equipment to get almost any job done.

The American Rental Association estimates the equipment rental industry to reach nearly 60 billion in 2021. Local governments can access the tools they need without a large investment by using budget-friendly rental equipment on contract.

"Undoubtedly, the government sector will play a large role in helping reach that number with everyday requirements," said Sourcewell Supplier Development Supervisor Kelly McAllister. "Combined with emergencies and national disasters, the demand for rental equipment has never been greater."

These contracts offer agencies a full selection of construction rental equipment, including public works and public utility rental equipment, a catalog of equipment training programs, safety training programs, and used rental equipment sales solutions.

Following a competitive solicitation process, Sourcewell awarded cooperative purchasing contracts offering access to these suppliers:
