LAWRENCE, MA - City of Lawrence Mayor William Lantigua recently released a list of cost-cutting measures implemented at the beginning of the year.
According to the Eagle Tribune, cost-cutting measures include "an immediate and drastic reduction of all take-home vehicles by municipal employees, saving an estimated $50,000 in gasoline and insurance."
In addition, $231,000 worth of surplus property has been sent to the City Council to be sold, according to the Tribune.
