AUSTIN, TX – Energy Xtreme’s Independence Package, a series of mobile power idle reduction systems, is now available on GSA schedule GS-07F-0149T through MaxaVision Technologies. The systems are smart power management devices that provide power, without engine engagement, to vehicles with demanding electrical needs.

MaxaVision Technologies is an authorized GSA distributor of high performance, reliable, approved, portable power solutions for all branches of the U.S. military and government law enforcement agencies for a variety of tactical, surveillance, and communication applications. The availability of Energy Xtreme products on GSA through MaxaVision Technologies simplifies the procurement of systems and solutions for all government organizations. Energy Xtreme's products can also be purchased online via GSA Advantage and GSA eBuy. Government buyers use eBuy to obtain quotes or proposals for services, large quantity purchases, big ticket items, and purchases with complex requirements.

“It’s immensely satisfying to know that our clean tech systems, which have prevented the release of thousands of tons of hazardous emissions and realized millions of dollars in savings for fleets around the world will now be readily available to our Government and Defense agencies,” said Mike Moore, senior vice president of Energy Xtreme. “The opportunity to bring greater national security, reduce taxpayer burden by cutting fuel consumption and costs, minimizing dependence on foreign oil, and reducing emissions is a win-win for all.

“We look forward to providing these robust power systems to every government customer who can purchase via our GSA Multiple Award Schedule. In the face of mandatory budget reductions and rising fuel costs, the timing by Energy Xtreme to provide a more cost effective solution is near perfect!” stated Lester Limerick, MaxaVision’s president.

Energy Xtreme’s Independence Package series is a recognized “take to war” technology by the U.S. Army. The Independence Package series provides remote electric power and idle reduction capability, enabling companies and departments to cut costs, maintain asset value, minimize dependence on foreign oil, and reduce emissions. Law enforcement, emergency services, utility companies, or departments of transportation, and work truck and long haul centric companies can retrofit existing vehicle assets with Energy Xtreme’s mobile power solutions and instantly realize budget relief.
